Near Guatemala City, the city of Antigua lies amongst the Agua and Fuego volcanoes. The Los Volcanes lot is sourced from family-owned farms, which produce the coffee traditionally: under a canopy of grevillea and chalum trees. The coffee produced in this area has a protected designation of origin to certify the crop was grown in Antigua’s renowned coffee region. The volcanic soil and an array of varietals create a complex, rich and velvety cup. The cherries are fully washed and dried in the sun on concrete.
I’ve been drinking bad coffee for too long . It tasted rancid but . . .just kept taking it down in hopes to “wake up.” Your light roast is next level ! The taste is far superior than the monster bags of Costco coffee I’ve been buying for myself . This smaller bagged , fresh roasted coffee is perfect for our household . So glad we gave it a shot ! Now my husband wants to find an espresso machine and start drinking too . . .Thank you Haleiwa Coffee Roasters !
